SBE strengthens undergraduate participation in the 48th EBE
The first edition of the Undergraduate Participation Support Programme of the Brazilian Meeting of Econometrics was a success! We received more than 90 excellent applications from undergraduate students across the country. The selection for the 48th EBE has been completed, with 17 students awarded.
The initiative reinforces SBE's commitment to bringing undergraduates closer to economics research, to its annual meetings and to the Society itself, widening their opportunities to meet researchers, frontier topics and different academic and professional paths.
We thank Bradesco and Fundação Itaú for supporting the initiative and for helping make it possible for young economists to take part in the 48th EBE.
To those selected, congratulations! See you in Foz do Iguaçu!
